This minty, citrus scent is an ode to the first days of surfing in Santa Cruz. Once where a monolith of a hotel now stands, there was a small strip of shops along Cowell Beach, including O’Neill’s first surf shop and a little shell shop called Beyond the Reef. Although the landscape has drastically changed, surfing is still a cornerstone of Santa Cruz culture, and we wouldn’t be the same without it.
Beyond the Reef’s scent notes:
Top: Grapefruit, Rhubarb, Mint
Mid: Lavender, Rose, Apple
Base: Vanilla
This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including grapefruit, mandarin, orange, lemon, thyme, bergamot, and buchu leaf.
All of our candles are hand poured in Santa Cruz, California using only the best ingredients and materials. Our candles are made with 100% soy wax from USA grown soybeans, as well as a paper/cotton blend, lead-free wick. Our fragrances are phthalate-free, pet-friendly, and comply with standards set by the International Fragrance Association. We strive to source eco-friendly supplies, and we have eliminated all single-use plastic from production. Please reuse or recycle container after use.
